Ingredients
- 190 g All-Purpose Flour
- 200 g Granulated Sugar
- 113 g Butter
- 2 Eggs
- 10 ml Vanilla Extract
- 8 g Baking Powder
- 3 g Salt
- 120 ml Milk
- 226 g Butter
- 480 g Powdered Sugar
- 60 ml Milk
- 10 ml Vanilla Extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 12-cup muffin tin with cupcake liners.
- For cupcakes: Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy (3 minutes).
- Beat in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Alternate adding dry ingredients and milk to butter mixture, beginning and ending with dry.
- Divide batter evenly among cupcake liners, filling 2/3 full.
- Bake 16-18 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely.
- For frosting: Beat butter until creamy. Gradually add powdered sugar, then milk and vanilla.
- Beat on high speed for 3 minutes until light and fluffy.
- Pipe or spread frosting onto cooled cupcakes. Decorate as desired.
